C.hill Movement is not a CrossFit affiliate, so we do not have CrossFit classes. But we do have something to offer the CrossFit community, especially during the upcoming Open: RECOVERY and PREPARATION. If you’re serious about getting better, then learning how to recover is an art you need to know. That means learning how to stretch well, activate appropriately, pace yourself, rest better, and plan accessory work to complement the more challenging parts of your training.
To that end, let me introduce you to our GET OPEN promo. If you love the CrossFit Open but are serious about competing well, with high-quality movement, building your resilience, and avoiding injury, this is for you.
From now until the end of March, use code NOMOREINJURIES to get 10% off our 5-class and 10-class passes. With the 5-class pass you can attend Coach Sarah’s Durability class on Fridays, which will be specially programmed to get yourself more mobile and stable in preparation for that week’s Open workout.
This isn’t a soothing mobility class or yoga session, though. You will indeed get more bendy and stable from attending, but you’ll have to work for it.
Our stronger recommendation is to go for the 10-class pass and make it a goal to attend one Durability class per week as well as one regular Movement class per week for the duration of the Open. This will get you the kind of physical activity that can help you recover from the previous Open workout and prepare for the next one. (It might shock some people to learn that it’s not ideal to do heavy, high-intensity workouts daily in between the Open workouts.)
Don’t worry if you can’t make all the classes during the Open — 5-class passes don’t expire for two months from the date of purchase, and 10-class passes take three months. So you can use those on any of the classes on our schedule within that time!
